Why Join Us
- We are a non-profit health plan. We take pride in wisely spending our dollars on health care for our members. Our surplus goes to the community and our parent company, Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, to train the next generation of physicians, nurses, dentists and other health care providers.
- We care about our customers. In fact, we measure our success by them. To us, quality is determined by how many of our members get the health care that they need.
- We look for leaders. Leaders come at all levels, places and roles in our organization. We support our team members on their leadership journey with targeted training and development opportunities.
- We are a learning organization. In order to be flexible and nimble to health care industry changes, we invest considerable time in developing our team members’ knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- We embrace process improvement. Our employees and leaders are Black Belts, Green Belts, and Yellow Belts who work to transform our business operations by applying Lean Six Sigma principles.
